ingredients. These ingredients are both known for their mood supporting actions.
In this formula, they work on the weak and reversible MAO-inhibitor activity of
its Ginkgo ingredient which acts by inhibiting the enzymatic degradation of the
serotonin that is formed from its 5-HTP ingredient. By inhibiting the
MAO-mediated breakdown of the serotonin that is formed from its precursor
(5-HTP), Ginkgo extract enhances the action associated with increased serotonin
content of the brain.
